1929 Hangar Open House

In partnership with the City of Albany and the Albany Regional Museum, a passionate team of volunteers are working to bring a new museum inside the historic 1929 hangar. During Art & Air Fest weekend, August 23 & 24, the Historic 1929 Hangar Committee will be hosting an open hangar event from 12pm to 5pm each day.

Visitors are welcomed to tour the hangar and peruse local aviation vendors from the NW Ninety-Nines Organization of Women Pilots to the Willamette Modelers. Three planes will be on display as well as a Model A car! A children’s area will be available to make it fun for the whole family.

For those who have time you can join us for a presentation on important Airplanes of Albany from 2pm - 3pm each day.

Come learn about the vision for a Museum at the airport by visiting us at 375 Aviation Way, Albany OR 97322.

This event is free, parking is available or take a shuttle from Art & Air Fest for easy access!
