History Bites: Showing of "A Thing of Wonder"

Join the Albany Regional Museum for a different kind of History Bite. For January we will be showing a 45-minute documentary on Jerry Andrus, a magician, inventor, and poet. Jerry lived in Albany’s Keyhole house, until his passing in 2007. He built quite a reputation in Albany and amongst the magician community, even befriending Raymond Teller of Penn & Teller.

“A Thing of Wonder” was filmed shortly before Jerry passed away, it is described by Teller as “captures the genius, humor, poetry, and heroic integrity of one of my favorite people of all time.” Come see and learn about the interesting and quirky life of local Jerry Andrus.

Popcorn and refreshments provided.
