Join us on June 8th at noon to hear from local author Tai Stith on the historic significance of the Albany Research Center (U.S. Bureau of Mines). Tai will be sharing footage from the "lost films of the Bureau of Mines" a set of 16mm films from 1956-1975 the Museum was recently able to digitize. This is the first time many of these films will have been viewed publicly in decades.
Tai Stith is the author of "Science, Submarines, & Secrets: The Incredible Early Years of the Albany Research Center. Her insight into what is on these films will be amazing.
No charge for this event, donations encouraged. Light refreshments available.
