First Friday: Preserving Your Family Photos

Albany Regional Museum is kicking off National Historic Preservation Month with a special event that will take place from 4:30 pm- 7:00 pm where you will learn from our very own Collections & Exhibits Manager, Amy Bozorth, how to preserve your family photos using our scanners! You can even help to contribute to our digital photo collection to preserve Albany’s memories for generations to come.

Please see below for how to participate:
o Bring in no more than 10 photos that are 8”x10” or smaller. The photos must be loose photos to fit in our scanners.
o Bring in a USB or portable hard drive to save your digital copies to, we cannot send your photos to you.
o If your photo is related to Albany, it can be added to our digital collection with your permission!

This event is free to attend, and did we mention that admissions to the museum is free all day on 5/03?!
