Join Darrel Tedisch, former Albany Fire Chief, and current Board Chair of the Museum, as he shares the early years of the AFD with the first Albany Engine No. 1 in 1862, the “new” fire station built on Lyon Street in 1951 and the third and forth fire stations erected in 1998.
Railway Tour with Bill Maddy

Hop aboard Albany’s vintage trolley with Bill Maddy, Albany Regional Historian, for a narrated ride on historic Albany railways. Guests are also invited to step inside the museum to see the expanded train station among the displays.
